The first step to understanding the three learning styles, visual, auditory, and kinesthetic, is to find out which style you learn best with. Kelli Claypool has provided me with an excellent learning style test that is free to use. Another very useful way to determine which style you posses is by using the chart below. After determining your primary learning style, you can learn how to use these styles to improve your life and the life of those around you in so many ways.
It is really easy to use, just read the word in the left column and then find the answer that most fits you in the three columns to the right. Your answers may fall into all three columns, but one column will likely contain the most answers. The dominant column indicates your primary learning style.
