Excellent information about visual learners. In the classroom, I was able to capture the attention of the visual learners by wearing funky reading glasses and singing the story instead of reading the story. Needless to say, my class was often dramatic but the elementary aged students seemed to really enjoy and increased test scores proved that I was doing something right. :)

As an entrepreneur, understanding the learning styles of your clients and prospects leads to offering products of extreme value. Happy client + extreme value = a happy trip to the bank! :)

Excellent information, Tommy. Folks of all ages are seeking outside the home employment and are in need of updating their resume. I like that you touched upon the social networks and work history. These are key points that potential employers pay close attention to.

Another key point would be to proof your resume to ensure it is free from spelling errors, which signifies a lack of concern in the details. It's just as bad as showing up to an interview in a tank top and flip-flops. Be professional (regardless of the position applying for), have an eagle eye for details, and take the initiative to make an outstanding impression.

Excellent, Stephanie. I've been studying personality types and behaviors, lately, and it is very true about how some people find it rather difficult to make eye contact.

Looking at body language also tells me if the person is paying attention, not be honest, or is simply not interested in our conversation.

This is a great debate and I love how Alex shared with us the Japanese culture.

Thank you so much for your comment. I loved reading it!!

The issue about eye contact is a big one in our society.

One thing I learned rather late in life is that some people have issues, like high functioning autism, or other types of syndromes, who appear normal in most aspects, but have issues with making eye contact. It really does not mean they're untrustworthy.

But making appropriate eye contact can be practiced and learned, which tells me further that actions matter more than almost anything since everything else can be faked.
